Bachelor Viewing Party

I'm pretty sure I've switched lives with someone for the past few days. Seriously, the craziest things have happened to me and I'm still in shock from it all! 

I guess I'll start off the story with Vegas. As y'all probably know, I'm a HUGE Bachelor fan. I keep up with all of the past contestants on Twitter, and so I knew that Jake Pavelka is currently hosting Chippendales in Vegas. We went to Rio, the casino where the show is, for dinner and to gamble a little before heading off to a club (that's a whole other amazing story, soon to come!). I had just finished playing some slots when I turned around to see Jake walking right past me! 

It still makes me laugh to think about that conversation. I'm not sure why, but I yelled his name exactly like you would if you bumped into an old friend, and he gave me that look of, "oh crap, am I supposed to know who you are?!" I had actually met him when I went to the Bachelor Pad finale taping, so I told him that and he talked to us for a few minutes! I was kind of surprised by just how nice he was- he was more than happy to take pictures with me and then made sure they turned out okay before leaving! 

Right after, I posted the picture on Facebook, and William Holman (Ashley's season & Bachelor Pad) liked it! I may have been flipping out just a little bit. But little did I know, it was about to get even better!

Cut to Monday- I follow a bunch of the Bachelor people on Twitter (that's the reason I actually signed up for Twitter...it's okay, I know I'm lame) and I follow some of the producers as well. So Monday afternoon, I see on Twitter that there is a Bachelor finale viewing party being held at the creator of Bachelor, Mike Fleiss's house, in Malibu....and Robert Mills, the producer, asked if there were any fans who wanted to come. I tweet him right back saying I'd love to come, and to my complete surprise, he sent me a message with the address and phone number to get through the gate! 

I called Ashley and told her that she better be available that night because we have an amazing party to go to! I showered faster than ever before, hopped in the car, and drove to LA.

We were the first to get there, so it was me, Ashley, Robert Mills (producer), and Mike Fleiss. They were SO nice and basically answered every single question we had (and I had A LOT). They told us so much inside info, about cast members, past seasons, things that they're planning, etc., but we promised them that we wouldn't tell! But it was like a dream come true for me! They also asked us a lot about what we liked and didn't like from the shows, which is pretty amazing considering that they are the 2 people that make all of the decisions for the show!

There were several past and current cast members there, including Samantha and Casey S from this season, as well as Natalie Getz (Jason's season and BPad 1 winner) and Erica Rose (Lorenzo's season and BPad 2). There was only about 10-12 people there total!

Then, someone else came. And I seriously could not believe what was happening. OWEN WILSON walked in the door!!! He is neighbors with Mike Fleiss and walked his cute little dog over to join the party. He walked around the room and introduced himself to everyone, then came and sat down next to me!!! He asked me all about the Bachelor and we talked about our dogs. I tried to act as cool as possible, even though I was freaking out inside!

I'm still in disbelief that it happened, but I have to say that every single person there was way nicer than I could have expected. They could have easily ignored us since we were outsiders, but they made us feel so comfortable and part of the group. Not to mention they are all hilarious! And they were all exactly how they seemed on TV- which was a very good thing!

 This was definitely a night to remember!
