Doug and I had the best time in Vegas and were trying to figure out how we could stay an extra day- we didn't want to leave! Vegas recap will probably be 2 posts, since I have a ton of pictures already in this one!
We walked all up and down the strip on Saturday to see the casinos and hotels, and it was amazing but exhausting! We were probably walking for 8 hours straight. Yikes. I'll let the pictures do the talking now!
The flamingos at The Flamingo |
Paris was by far my favorite hotel. I literally gasped when we walked in and probably embarrassed Doug by just how many pictures I took. It was stunning and reminded me so much of those lovely Parisian streets!
My favorite part of France is the pastries. Right as I was telling this to Doug, we walked by a gorgeous bakery and I was forced to go in.
I chose this beauty- espresso chocolate ganache cake. Oh. my. word.
New York, New York- one of my other favorites.
If you've ever met Doug, you know he loves his pizza :)
Look what we found! GO DAWGS!
I still regret not getting one of these! I was still too full from that espresso cake...
Y'all, that's chocolate. Yum.
And the Bellagio was my other favorite. The gardens were stunning!
The Bellagio fountains did not disappoint, either.
We are already planning our next trip- Doug created a monster when he took me! I can't stay away for long!

Great photos. I love just walking the strip, so entertaining!! Love your dress too Julie.
It looks so fun! I haven't been to Vegas since I was 16 and went on a family vacation. I'm pretty sure it would be a completely different experience if I went again!
Awesome pictures! I've never been to Las Vegas, but I might want to go now! The French hotel (and those pastries!) were beautiful! Excited to take a little vacation on your blog this week. :)
So glad you had a good time in Vegas! I love it there too, and I'm trying to convince Robert we should go soon. I don't know if it's working...

I don't drink and I don't gamble, but Vegas is one of my favorite places on earth. There is SOOO much to do! My family has a timeshare in a tiny little place called The Jockey Club which is in between Cosmopolitan and Bellagio. I LOVE it there.
My favorite, without question, is The Bellagio. I could live in that place. I can't count how many hours I've stood waiting for the fountains.
I'm glad you had an amazing time! I don't blame you for planning another trip! ;)
Ahhhh, these pictures are awesome! I want to go someday!!!
I love the gardens and fountains too! They're just so glamorous and beautiful...
I can't wait for part 2!! There is just something about Vegas that I love too. We have a trip planned in May and I can't wait:) Hopefully you will get a couple trips in before you leave.
I've loved catching up on everything you've been up to! See.. people like us can enjoy Vegas too! Matt and I have both said we'd love to go back!! Happy belated birthday!! I'm kicking myself for not remember to wish you a happy birthday on the actual day! I'm glad it was great! Have a wonderful week with your mom and at ELLEN!!!! You can already count on the start of my comment on that post... you know what it will be?!?!
