After we finished
the dining room, we realized the living room needed to coordinate! {This was actually my plan all along, but for the sake of my parents' sanity, I had to slowly string them along :) } The only thing that stayed in the room was the piano...I wanted to paint it black, but they weren't too keen on that idea! The room is kind of awkward because the windows are off-centered, but we found a few things to help fill the gaps.

Hey, my name is Tara and I love reading your blog! Also, I think you are great at decorating these rooms!! You are the luckiest person to be able to do these makeovers!
Praying for your family.
Unbelievable! Love it!!!
Wow. You did an amazing job on both rooms. What were the total costs for both rooms? Just curious. Want to come to PA and do one of my rooms? ;)
Looks good! Love a good grey :)
Another amazing makeover!! I am so excited to get started on ours!!!
HOLY COW! It's amazing! I love the gray, and I LOVE that chair! You certainly have an eye for design!
But for real, how much in heaven were you with someone else's budget and house to makeover? So fun!!
The room looks awesome - so much "cleaner" looking. I love neutrals in homes so much! I'll admit though that I let out a little yelp at the idea of painting a piano. EEEEEK, JULIE! I've played for years and won't even touch anything but the keys because I don't even want fingerprints on the piano, so I couldn't imagine painting it!! Minor panic attack there. haha.
Girl, you work such magic! Please come here and redecorate my place!
Wow, that looks great. When you get done with your house how about you just swing on over to Louisiana and do mine. :)
These makeover posts seriously blow my mind. You have SUCH amazing taste...that literally looks like a magazine picture. You have a serious talent - you need to get paid to do this!
I'm moving into an apartment next month and have the decorating skills of a 12-year-old boy. I wish you could help me!
