I can finally share a little more about what's going on with us! We found out a few weeks ago that Doug's company wanted to move us to Puerto Rico, so that's why we were there last week. We ultimately decided that it wasn't the right place for us, but I really enjoyed looking at houses while we were there- I felt like I was on House Hunters International!
Since we turned it down, we're now being moved to Phoenix, AZ. In 6 days. So I have been stressing and packing and trying to soak up all of the California goodness in these last few days. I am really going to miss this place.
We don't know how long we'll be in Phoenix. It could be as short as a couple months, or it could be longer. We're living in a teeny tiny furnished apartment with all of our stuff in storage, so this will definitely be an adjustment since I've been spoiled with this beautiful house here. And I know that Maisy will miss her big backyard!
In other random news, remember a few months ago when I mentioned Doug and I went to the final challenge taping for Bachelor Pad 3? Well, it aired last night! If any of you watched it, you know how hilarious, horrible, and entertaining it was. This season is kind of hard to watch sometimes, especially because I feel so bad for Rachel. And apparently it only gets worse for her next week. What do y'all think of this season?
I had tickets to the finale taping but of course, it was the weekend we went to Puerto Rico. I have got to stop going out on town when they tape these things!! It's so frustrating!
I don't think I know anyone in Phoenix...do I have any readers who live in the area?

So exciting! How did you get tickets. Bachelor Pad is one of my guilty pleasures
So crazy!!!! I'll be praying for you over the next days and weeks...hopefully the transition is smooth and exciting :) What does Doug do? Will you be working or try to find another Nanny job? I just love living vicariously through other bloggers sometimes! :)
I love reading your blog! I'm from Phoenix :)
My parents live in the Phoenix area! Scottsdale actually. I visit there as often as possible! It's one of my favorite places ever! You're going to love it. It's HOT during the summer, but the rest of the year the weather is perfect!
this IS a big life update! so exciting julie!! i'll take that you guys are just slowly hopping your way across the united states back to georgia?! :) i'll take it!
I'm glad that y'all finally know where y'all will be living, even if just for a short time. Next stop Shreveport?? : )
I'm in Scottsdale! Which is basically Phoenix! (The Metro area is huge and spread out, but Scottsdale and Phoenix border each other. Literally on the other side of the major street by us, the border changes). We've been here about 3 years and I'd love to be of help with anything you need! : )
I went to elementary school in pheonix! I don't remember loving it--- but I am sure that was only because I was so little and only remember it being hot! I have friends in tucson, if you ever want me to pass your info on so you at least know someone within driving distance!
PHOENIX?! That's super exciting girl! I'm sure you guys will have an excellent time there :)
Congrats on the move.
